Damaged 52 inch Sharp Aquos LCD panel. Fixable?
-
I just busted my buddies 52 inch Sharp Aquos (lc-52d64u) LCD panel. A result of way too many beers and an intense game of Nintendo Wii Bowling. I replaced his tv with a new one and am now a proud owner of a gorgeous 52 inch tv (when it's turned off). The exterior is fine, but the lcd panel is damaged internally. It still turns on but there are some vertical lines coming down the left hand side and a spider web crack toward the top. Is it worth fixing, and Where can I find a replacement lcd panel?

Answer:
I bet you don't do that again. The LCD panel is by far the most expensive part of the set. It may be fixable... but you will end up paying as much as the TV cost in the first place, if not more, to fix it.
