Who makes lcd screens for sony?

Lcd screens, Vizio? Sharp? Who makes em?

  • Need to know who manufactures Vizio, I know it's a company introduced in 2003, fairly new and cheap. I read Vizio might be partly Sanyo/Fisher, but not sure! Is Visio part of Japanese companies ? Also is sharp american or japanese brand? Do you prefer vizio or sharp LCD? Putting the questions above aside, in your opinion, which LCD screen would you buy, how many inches, and why?

    i have a 42" Vizio and I am very pleased with the HD picture. it also has sockets for HDMI and all kinds of AV/Audio hook-ups. $897 at Sam's Club (an excellent price, too)

vizio is american company. sharp is a japanese company don't even compare sharp to vizio. sharp is in a whole nother league, vizio will never compare to sharp. sharp lcd's kill vizio in every way possible. sharp lcd compares to sony and samsung. vizio compares to westinghouse, olevia and all those wal-mart brands. and for inches, i wouldn't know, my friend recently bought a 32' LG lcd and it works fine. i have a 42' samsung plasma though.
