Deactivated Cable Box?
-
How would a deactivated cable box act, because i have a comcast cable box that i can still watch channels on, but if i click on guide or ondemand it says "to be announced" and it doesnt go away so somebody please help.

Answer:
If it were actually disconnected, you would get a black screen unless you ran the cable directly from the outlet into the TV. When it says "TBA" it had either been unplugged lately or there is an issue at the Comcast hub.. It should be temporary. If it lasts more than an hour or two call 1-800-COMCAST and they will send a new signal to the box. You are not deactivated :)
