Is Satellite Cable better then Standard Co-axial Cable and if so, why?

Satellite cable is not better than co-axial cable when it comes to continuous reception. When there is a bad weather the satellite cable service does get interrupted(though providers won't agree fully)..So Co-axial cable is the best when you don't want your service to get interrupted. But Satellite cable service is relatively cheaper to cable and also we get more channel choices like International channels/paid programs. Regarding Picture Quality wise, there is not much difference(to human eyes atleast) So you got to sacrifice one thing or the other and you have to chose one according to your need.
