How can i get cable channels on my dorm's tv if there's no cable setup in my room?

You can only use the cable they provide you with. I know if you look into they have packages that you can pay more for to get all the channels

okay obviousley you dont have a clue about cable, lol no offence first of all this is how it works you have your main cable line to the dorm you buy a metal spliter which you screw the main cord into and two more cables to go to two different tv's what you want to do is find the cable line going to your main tv or the main cable line and put a splitter on it which you can find at walmart or any hardware store then buy a 50 or 100 ft coax cord from again the hardware store or walmart and screw that on one side of the spliter and get a 5 ft coax cord and plug it in the other side of the spliter to your main tv that way you got it in both rooms then the 50ft coax cable run it to your dorm room which you could stick it through the attic by drilling a hole in the roof so the cord is out of the way or just put it under the carpet to your room, hook it to your tv and do the channel setup and boom ya got cable nice and clear too but i prefer dishnetwork which is what i got its way better than basic cable good luck email me at [email protected] for additional information
