Yes, this is a good model for watching tv and for gaming. May I recommend an even better tv, it's a Sumsang and they are the top rated tv when it comes to LCD. Enjoy whatever you get.

I think you will be OK with that one and it is a good price. Before purchasing ask to see it in action at the shop, if they refuse go somewhere who will. Good Luck Panasonic is better I think but more money!!!!
