I need TV repair help!! I have a Phillips 60" HD wide screen projection TV.?
-
The colors (Red and Green) are splitting. Its like there is double vision on the TV. Any suggestions?
-
Answer:
Dont worry, that will happen to ALL CRT rear projections like the unit you have. About 90% of the time most people get them repaired. Its called a convergence problem, and a rough estimate is about $260-$350 for the repair.

how old is the tv? No suggestions here, I recently got rid of a 65" mitsubishi that was doing the same thing. Repairman said it wasn't worth fixing.

Owners manual will tell you how to adjust the static convergence.

YOU NEED the convergence amplifiers replaced.... I think they take STK392-120's A skilled tech can do it and not damage the board they mount to. Fecomosis is correct about the PRICE.....
