Which lcd monitors have TV /Video game inputs?

Can this type of TV hook up to a video game system?

  • I am buying an LCD television as a christmas gift - it is for someone in a small barracks room, and he pretty much would only use it for video games was wondering if the model says "Component video input set S-Video input set Composite video input set Audio input sets " Does this mean he will be able to hook his game system to play on the televison? I don't know anything about electronics or video games so your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Most LCD's 13" or larger have at least one input for Composite jacks (the Red, White, and Yellow set). Game systems like PS2 or Xbox have this wire set. Newer game systems Xbox360 and PS3 have higher quality output similar to the jacks use for High Definition (Green,Blue,Red,White,Red) called Component. Either way, looks like you're OK cuz the TV has both. Hope this helps.

you have to check the lcd tv you are going to buy, if their is an audio video out.. all latest model of all present manufacturer are designed for the specification you want to buy are in the market now , so you have to check the "audio video out" of the lcd tv.. that is the model you're lookin' for. okay?

look for the red yellow and white plug in, its as easy as that... if it has it, they are good to go... and more than likely it will be fine. I havnt come across any newer TV that wasnt capable of playing video games on it. and even so, they can always get different adaptors to fit the needs of their tv

its just like dvd hookups, it should work for xbox or playstation systems, nintendo too.
