New place with Hd tv; can I get local channels?
-
Just moved in to a new place, but we decided we don't want cable. I have a Sony Bravia Hd tv. How can I get the basic 4 local channels on my tv set?
-
Answer:
Yes you can. Just plug in the antenna cable from the wall to your tv. Then turn it on and go to settings/setup. Choose the network picture or anything that's related to the tv channels. Then select auto scan. Wait then your will have local tv! Good luck

First, you need a good antenna. Depending on how strong the signals are at your home, an indoor antenna may not be good enough. Visit http://www.antennaweb.org to see where the TV transmitters are located. If they are more than about 5 miles way, you may need an outdoor antenna. Make sure the TV is set for antenna tuning and scan for channels.
