Can I use universal remote on an old analogue tv?

When we fully convert to a digital signal(ie no analogue signal at all) will i be able to use bedroom tv?

  • i cant get a signal on my bedroom tv thru freeview with a indoor aerial,what will happen when it goes fully digital? will my tv in the bedroom be ok or will i need to get a outdoor aerial and have the expense ad palarver of a new aerial. i have a inndoor wich it says pics up freeview but its rubbish ,will it work once the signal goes fully digital

    You will still be able use it if you get a connect a freeview box.Sometimes you can pick up a freeview signal with a indoor aerial if you have it near a outside wall.If not I'm afraid you going after pay have a outdoor aerial put up...But then again if you do have a outdoor aerial already for downstairs you can add a extra lead to that aerial and get a crystal clear signal

Indoor aerials do work, but only if you are close enough to a transmitter to get a strong signal. After analogue shut down, it is said that signal strength will be better. Check the web site below for aerial info.

always use an outdoor aerial for freeview (after changeover the digital signal will be stronger than it is now so things should improve). only ever use an internal of in-roof aerial if you as so close to the transmitter that you can see it! otherwise only use external!

you wont be able to use it unless it is connected to an outside digital aerial, my mother in law has an indoor digi aerial and they are crap
