What do I do to get my music from my usb to play on my tv ?

I have a magnavox plasma tv and I want to listen to music . I have a usb port on my tv and a usb with music on it . Now what do I have to do to get the music to play . Please help . Thank you

I have a key on my keyring and a door with a keylock in it. What do I have to do to get the key to unlock that door? Most TVs with a USB port is just for diagnostics and internal updates. TVs don't usually have the Operating System of computers and the necessary software to interpret all the various audio and video files for playback. If yours doesn't, which is most likely, then you're out of luck. But if it does, then you really need the instruction manual to use the extra features.
