Changing input on Insignia TV with DirecTV Remote?

I just programmed the remote to my tv & it does work but I can't change inputs. If I press the TV INPUT on the remote nothing happens. If I press the input button on the TV, there is no way (that I could find) to make the input switch. Any advice? Model #: NS-LCD26A

Set the remote slide switch to TV. Press Mute and Select key at the same time; see green light under the switch flash twice, then release keys. Press 960, watch green light flash twice again. TV INPUT should now work on your TV.
