What are the lines on my plasma TV?

How do I get rid of 2 Black lines on my SKY plasma TV?

  • I bought a 42'' plasma tv from sky just over three years ago from sky shop, this part of sky seems to have folded up. I have two black line on the screen. All effort to find the real model of my tv prove abortive. Help.

    Take the TV to a reputable shop that repairs Plasma TVs. You should be able to find one in the phone book. Friends of yours or family members with similar TVs might recommend a shop you should try. Or ask for labor rates to find out how much you are going to spend. I get some hardware repaired for work and I got two different labor rates from two different shops: One was $125 US per hour the other was $75 US per hour. Ironically the $75 per hour place does better work and gets it done faster.

Sounds like the same problem I have on my flat screen monitor from westinghouse. I have a thin white line right in the middle of the screen. The pixels have been lost.

go out side see if you can find a house brick. that should do the trick, you'll find !
