How to choose LCD Panel?

Can I use a LCD panel from a LNT4642H with a Samsung LN-S4692D?

Hello all! I have a Samsung LN-S4692D 46" LCD TV with a cracked screen. The Part number for the replacement panel is LTA460WS-LH1. After weeks of searching for this panel at a somewhat reasonable price and being ripped a new one from some jerk at store08.com (they only accept Western Union or BankTransfer, and they are on the dreaded SCAM list), I was able to find a brand new LCD panel but it is slightly different. The new panel is a LTA460WT-L11 and is said to be used on a Samsung model # LNT4642H 46" TV. My question ? Is there any way that I can use this panel on my LN-S4692D? Thanks in advance for your help. Answer:

In all TVs, firmware and picture quality are fine tuned for a specific panel. I highly recommend you give your TV to a repair shop authorized by Samsung. If you don't want them to replace it, I am sure they can help you finding the right part.
