Sony,Samsung,LG,Panasonic (Which one is the most reliable product?)?

    1. Sony and Samsung 2. Panasonic and LG I have a Samsung PS-42Q7HD (check it out via a google search). As the model suggests it is a 42" HD Plasma screen with built in HD digital tuner. I have had mine for six months. We watch HD DVD's, play video games, watch foxtel digital and digital HD free to air TV and the picture quality is outstanding. We also get compliments on the picture and the looks of the unit itself from other people. I compared many brands in the shops. The Samsung won hands down due to price, looks, picture quality and ease of use. Samsung give you 2 years standard warranty as well. I upgraded it to five years for a small fee.

well they are all very reliable manufacurers, it depends on what products you are comparing and even what type of tv you are companring . for me over all id pick the panasonic for #1 i am very pleased with there over all quality and they make excellent products. then id pick sony for #2 they also make great product, i dont like them too much as a company whole.they are very greedy and hard to work with from a retail stand point. but they make great product. samsung and lg are korean brands. they make good quality electronics. but id be alittle worried about the quality and reliability. oh they are great quality compared to other brands that you didnt mention. but of these brands here id stick to this order as far as quality and averall reliability.

Sony or Panasonic LCD . LG & Samsung are just so-so. What ever you get, please don't get Plasma of DLP. They are not getting good reviews after 2-3 years, some even sooner.
