Why do some cable channels not have any sound?

Cable tv sound is muted on some channels?

  • I live in a dorm and I have time warner cable, it's provided by the dorm... but on some channels like sci fi the sound is completely muted... what can i do? it's so annoying :( other channels seem to be working perfectly fine.

    My CNN isn't muted, but the volume is a lot lower. It's really annoying because if you change the channel, or a commercial comes on, it blasts. I don't think you can do anything.

Ask your dorm about it. It could be service problem that they are not aware of.

talk to the dorm manager and tell them about it.

you need to change your sound settings.....go to menu on your remote and adjust the sound settings...

this happened to me a button o the remote was hit and nobody knew which one it was sooooo... you just have to hit every button on the remote until it works again
