Is it dangerous to plug PS3 into LCD TV?

  • I have a Samsung LCD TV and I'm planning to buy a PS3. However, my dad won't let me play my PS3 on the LCD TV. He says that something bad will happen. I want to know is it dangerous or that anything bad happens if I plug the PS3 in the LCD TV? If yes or not, why? Thank you

    nothing will happen to the tv but you might get motion blur when playing fast action based games while your on the ps3 and there is no cure for it and it wont effect the tv when your dad is watching the tv

No you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Watching the TV in HD or standard definition will wear it out just the same. Most newer LCD TV's will have a life span of around 10,000 hours. So to answer your question one more time, no it won't damage your TV he may be just telling you that so that he has the TV to himself. XD

No, it never was dangerous. Its like using a DVD player with the Tv and you wont be touching the tv anyway, so how it may be dangerous. He, for sure does not knows about this but is trying to keep u away from using tv. Your father is either pulling your leg or is painfully misinformed. What does he expect you to play it on; the microwave, the air conditioner? Whatever his objections are, they have nothing to do with safety nor compatibility.

Not a problem. If it was a plasma then he may have cause to worry but an LCD with a PC or HDMI input should be fine.
