  TV with the longest life time is the CRT, but this type of TV is old tech and the screen size is below 40" (not recommended) The next type of TV with good lifetime is LCD TV (don't mix up with LCD projection TV) around 60000H, but the screen size isn't very big. I think the largest is 65" (Sharp). Next Plasma TV very good at contrast and brightness lifetime also not bad, but it has annoying burn in effect (don't display still picture for a long time, it will be printed on screen) The last is projection TV(DLP, LCD, SXRD) lifetime very short depend on Bulb need to change after around 8000h-10000h some type even under 8000h. but this type is cheap and the screen size can be very large. If it's me I will chose LCD TV.
