How do you set up sky multiroom?
-
What extra equiptment do I need, I already have extra sky box
-
Answer:
You need a techie to install a dual LNB (the thingy attached to the dish). This splits the signal for both decoders. Also you need a telephone extension in other room. Make sure Sky have the account set up properly as there can be problems when ordering moivies, sport etc. when using different decoders. One will be set up as primary.

Sky normally won't allow anyone to do their own installation. Also they are real picky about using a second-hand box. The installer uses a dual (forget the name of it) gizmo on the dish that splits the signal. Separate cables run from the dish to each sky box. That's all there is. Oh ya. Both boxes have to remain connected to phone lines even after the first twelve months.
