My Philips rear projection tv has just a blue screen and will not turn off I have to pull the plug?
-
All of sudden one day my screen went blue. I can only turn the tv off by unplugging the tv fromt the outlet. I tried calling service companies though they seem to know what it is they will not tell me. And since I live on the second floor they want me to bring the tv in. Too big.. Anyone have an idea what I can check maybe. As the service companies even gave me a price on fixing it. So I figured they already know what the problem is, without even looking at it.

Answer:
Theres only really 4 parts in a projection tv that would cause that. The large signal board small signal module/board or the CRTs. If you can get a hold of the part its a pretty simple fix the boards are pretty much plug n play.
