Is Blue-Ray really better than HD-DVD?

    Not by much.....Both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray can create a 1080 HD picture. But a Blu-Ray can hold more movie reviews, bloopers, commentaries, and basic games created for the package. And really, when you think about it.....Don't you just want to watch the movie and maybe watch the Bloopers? The rest of the stuff is just plain tedious to get thru......So why would you want MORE tedious stuff on your DVD?

Yes blu-ray can currently hold 60GB while HD can only hold 30GB, Blu-Ray has the capacity to hold up to 300GB in the very near future, Blu-Ray has a much brighter future than HD-DVD

this is supposed to be the media format for the next decade. currently both output in 1080p. however, 1440p is coming out soon, guess which one can do 1440p, blu-ray cause of its size, hd dvd doesn't have the space or the bit rate to handle it. 1440ps are coming out this year. blu-ray is currently 50GB going to 300GB, HD DVD is 30GB going to 51GB. Blu-ray is better.
