Best picture on plasma tv?

What would cause the picture to look scrambled/distored on all inputs on my 2 year old 42" Viore Plasma TV?

• I bought this TV about 2 years ago from Wal-Mart but have only been using it for one year. When you turn the TV on the picture is all distorted/scrambled. The picture kind of looks like those Thermal Imaging Cameras...where you can see the outlined image on the TV but you can't make anything out. The sound seems to be fine on the TV. We have eliminated all connections and or extra equipment for this problem. I pretty well have narrowed it down to someone on the TV going out but I have no clue what it is or how much it would be to fix. I need to know what would be causing this and how much it would be to fix or if getting a new TV (as disturbing as that sounds) would be a better idea. I have called Viore and they will not even talk to me. Please help!! I hate Viore and Plasma TV's in general! Thanks, Noah [email protected]

  Check the power. Make sure it is clean. I had a case where an aquarium heater would cause problems with the TV. In addition, any strong RF or magnetic source near the tuner may be getting into the circuits. However, I think you are correct it will need servicing. I have not dealt with Voire but I have found that it is often faster and easier to email the tech staff rather than try to go through some off shore phone mail maze.
