Vcr's DVD Rec. Etc are use the 24 Hr Clock. Program listing Books etc use the outdated 12 hr WHY? WHY? WHY?
-
Why do the Media persist in using the 12 Hr Clock, the majority of programs are recorded after 1200 Hrs. Everyone then has to do mental arithmatic to program with a good chance of getting it wrong. This has baffled me since my first VHS VCR IN1986. Why make things difficult when with a little more EFFORT they can be made Impossable. Come on equipment suppliers and Media, please get together.I know you've got the 1234 (Pluscode) etc but one has to add time at both ends because schedules are hardly ever met..Theres also PCD, but is it reliable? or the Hard Disc Recorder which is priced out of reach of a great number us OAP's. Cheers Art
