If i purchase an HD satellite receiver, will non-HD channels still be distorted?
-
I have bell expressvu and have just purchased a 40inch Samsung LCD TV. The box that i am using now (connected with red white yellow cables) distorts channels and stretches the picture when i watch in 16:9. What can i do to fix this without ordering HD channels?

Answer:
The only way you can really defeat this is to change the tvs aspect ratio. If you bring up the black bars on the side of your tv using the aspect or picture size button on your remote you will see the 4:3 ratio that your programing was filmed and broadcast in. unfortunaly you will lose a couple inches of screen size when you do this.
