Ok, I have a Toshiba Regza that goes up to 1080i. There is a big line around the middle of the screen that has colors of what ever is on the screen when i first turn it on. What is this problem and can it be fixed?

Answer:
This might be a small problem but it sounds like a big problem. It could be a loose input to your TV from your receiver or some other type of source. All the new hdtvs and plasmas run on hours. So basically they last a couple of years then burn out and die. I am really sorry to write this but it seems like you need a new tv. There way overpriced now so good luck in finding a new one. Or maybe you have a warranty.
