How To Buy Wholesale Outlet In The UK?

Argos outlet on ebay?

  • Is the argos outlet on ebay owned officialy by Argos? If so, why are the prices on it so much cheaper than the normal argos website? http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Argos-Outlet Thinking to buy a television and was wondering why they're so cheap? They're labeled as new but am i still missing something? There are excellent 26inch and 32inch tv's for £200 - £300... wth?

  • Answer:

the problem with big stores/chains that have Ebay accounts, there not really as good, they do sometimes sell returned items cheaper on ebay, some prices are low because they were deal or sales prices and the sales have finnished and you wont get the item because it's either out of stock or no longer stocked by them or the sale has finnished (even though the listing is still up) from the amount of negative comments, i would never buy off of Argos's ebay site.

I would sooner deal directly with the store as a store purchase or if (like comet) they have their own Comet-clearance site At least it is clear that you have a genuine Sale and not giving Ebay massive amounts of transaction fees (perhaps why they are not cheaper ?). The prices of TV's do not seem cheaper than their catalogue or even other Currys digital etc stores. Good quality (Sony, Panasonic, Samsung etc) brands have come down massively for their basic models. If you go another 50 pounds lower you end up with the same 1 HDMI input and a low quality shop only brand like Teknika (tesco) or Bush (argos) etc.. pay the extra 50 notes and get a set that will last a few more years ;) http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/televisions/301_3002_30002_xx_BA00002718-BV00171818/xx-criteria.html - Sharp 22 inch for 127 pounds (original was 179) (and yes avoid the LogiK - own brand set !) - Samsung 26 inch : 189 pounds and thats ignoring the refurbished ones http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/refurbished-tvs/301_3004_30004_xx_xx/xx-criteria.html

i wouldnt buy anything from argos especially tv's in the £200-£300 region due to most of them are low budget poor quality brands bush, alba, lg, hitachi i would rather spend £299 from amazon and get this panasonic 32in tv with freeview HD http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-TX-L32C4B-32-inch-Widescreen-Freeview/dp/B005MNC4B8/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1327405612&sr=1-1 atleast you are getting freeview HD and its the best brand of tv's you can get for the same price even though it is on the top end range of your budget
