What's the difference between a chroma key and a digital chroma key?

Whats the difference beetween hd ready and hd ready digital?

  • I not very good on tvs and wondered whats the difference, digital HD ready are dearer than just HD ready, are the HD ready still good tvs? i dont know what the digital bit means.? Thanks

  • Answer:

These would be the same. It's probably just a difference in the marketing terms used by the manufacturers of the TV sets. HD (high definition) is one variety of digital television. There is no such thing as HD analog. There are several levels of resolution and interlacing within the digital TV standards. 480i - same resolution as standard analog TV 480p - non-interlaced, also called ED 720p - HD non-interlaced 1080i - HD interlaced 1080p - HD non-interlaced (not available over the air) i = interlaced p = progressive (non-interlaced)

Hi The 'digital' in the title just means it can pick up digital TV. Digital TV is different from your standard 4-channel Analogue TV, it has more channels and you can browse whats on via on screen menu's etc. The quality of the TV's differ depending on the pixel size but since they are both HD they should both be good quality TV's. Hope this helps.
