What's better, a 52" lcd or a 52" plasma tv?

Whats the diference between plasma screen tv and lcd screen tv and which one is the better?

  • i would like to buy a new tv for my living room so i went shoping,some one told me that plasma tv is beter than lcd but i found that lcd tv is more expensive than plasma tv same screen size,so im confuse about which one i have to buy plz help if u can!

    For normal size LCD technology is used, for big size plasma. But believe it or not: at the moment the old technology still gives you better images. So wait buying a new TV, unless the old one is broken, for about 2 or 3 years. By then you should get really good LCD or plasma TVs.

plasma has a life span of 5 years or less depend on usage,i have DLP 42" tv.don't know how long it will last.
