How do I hook up my computer to a big screen tv?

How to hook up an acer computer so i can see it on a big screen tv by RCA?

I have an acer TravelMate 290E running on Windows XP Professional and i wanna see everithing that shows up on my laptops screen to show up on an RCA R52WH74 big Widescreen projection TV

Very hard to do. There is a company in US that makes switch boxes to do this but costs $$$. Almost impossible with RCA. Try to get hold of a data projector. plug it all together then turn comp on. Should auto pick up. I do this do watch movies on big wall. Use comp speakers for sound, or plug in amp.
