I have dark spots on my LCD TV.

What are the white spots at the corners of my HD LCD TV?

  • Every time there is a dark image, such as an image of a dark sky, or whatever, I notice some white spots at each corner...I don't think they were there when I first set it up. Is that something bad?? I have my PS3 right next to the HDtv.

  • Answer:

I doubt DEAD Pixels....I really think it's the light leaking around the corners of the LCD panel, it's pretty much the norm for most LCD panel units to display this over a period of time..... Mine did after 3 months....Doesn't bother me SINCE I watch a TV show and not a BLACK only video source....

They could be dead pixels - defective pixels on an LCD screen that are not performing as expected. Your television should be covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
