60 hz vs 120 hz lcd tv?

I found a 60 Hz tv for 430$ 40' but I heard 120s are better what's the difference and can I get a better deal

the 120 hz tvs reduce pixelation and pic lag a great deal if you watch sports or any fast moving action on the screen. As for deals, keep looking around as new tvs are introduced around March. In Feb. the prices on this years models usually drop.
