Why is the sound cutting in and out of my brand new Sharp LED TV?
-
When the sound cuts out there is a loud humming noise. There is no problem with the sound if I play a DVD. We replaced the HDMI cable, but it is still doing it. We did not have this problem with our older TV which we replaced. Cable box, cables etc, are the same.

What did the dealer say, when you contacted the shop you purchased the TV from? If it's brand new, your TV will have a 12 month warranty. Let the dealer sort the problem out. That's what warranties are for.
