Trouble With Blu-Ray Player?

Trouble hooking up my vizio bluray player to my sony trinitron TV?

  • I just got a vizio bluray player and can't seem to get the audio to work on my sony trinitron TV. I got an hdmi to dvi adapter and I get the picture clear and perfect. I tried to hook up the audio with my regular yellow/red/white cables and no combination seems to give me sound. There are two audio jacks next to my dvi port, this is where I'm plugging it in, what on earth am i doing wrong here? No problems with audio when i tried the same cord on my dvd player.

  • Answer:

You might need to go into the blu ray player's set up menu and adjust the audio output settings till you find one that works.
