I bought a DVI to HDMI cable to connect my PC to my HD Samsung TV. But it doesn't work.?
-
My TV is a 32" Samsung LN32A450. I recently purchased a DVI to HDMI cable so I could use my TV for a monitor. I installed an Nvidia GeForce 6200 with a DVI port. So I hooked it all up and nothing happens. My TV just says no signal. I read through the manual and set the graphics card to the right settings with no luck. I've had it hooked up before with a VGA to VGA and it worked fine. Is there some difference that I'm unaware of by hooking it up like this? p.s. I've also made sure that I'm in the right input on the TV.

Answer:
it sounds like you have evrything right, and sence i asume your new graphics card is supported by your computer it may just need to be unpluged and repluged. also, try restarting the computer after hooking it up to the TV. i know its not much, but it could help Tek
