Connecting a dell computer to a RCA big screen tv?

can anyone tell me how to hook my computer up to my big screen tv or is that even possible? my big screen is about 4 years old and its an RCA, but i don't know what kind of cords or plug-ins i need in order to do this please help thanks!

Answer:
you need an s video cable. connect that cable then u want to rick click on the desktop and click properties go to settings and then clcik the advanced button and then u want to click on the graphic and follow the directions from there. i hope this works
