How do I get my Comcast remote to work with my tv (to turn off and on and change volume)?
-
I've got comcast with ondemand and the remote that goes with it. I have no remote for my television (Toshiba- enterprise something) itself so I've got to turn it off and on and change volume manually on the set. How can I get my comcast remote to turn off and on my tv etc.

Answer:
Go here for the Comcast remote instructions (you need Adobe to read them): http://www.comcast.com/corporate/customers/customer_support/remotes.html There are different types of remotes, so look them over and click on the one that is most like yours. You will get the manual instructions on how to find and set the code to get your TV to work with the Comcast remote. This is fairly simple to do. Good luck!!
