Why doesn't Sony wega turn on?

Sony wega do not turn on and it has stand by / timer red light flashing?

• my tv was off and it just start a flashing red light - stand by/timer- I tried turn on it but it doesn't. I disconected it from the ac and wait about 10 min and then try to turn it on again but nothing the flashing is still there. Does someone know what can i do?

Also, when the LED flashes typically it flashes a number of times then stops for some time, then flashes again and so on. You need to count how many times it flashes between stops. That number is a code that will be the first guide for the technician to know the reason. But anyway, the led flashing means a major problem, not something you can solve without opening and replacing parts n the unit. If the flashing is permanent, non stop, then it is a major problem with CPU.
