Rca television problems?

i have a 20 inch rca tru flat with built in dvd in my room i cant return it but i have had trouble with it like when u turn it on sometimes it turns right back off and when u turn it off sometimes it turns right back on and sometimes the buttons dont work on the tv or remote please help there is nothing wrong with the battery

The only explanation that I can think of is that the buttons on the tv are full of grease or food etc deposited by grubby little fingers ( bless em all ) , if that is the case you need to use a tooth brush and switch cleaner that you get at your local electronics store . I have done quite a few in my time, If I am wrong then beg forgiveness from the kids for me !! Cheers Pete

sounds like a seriuos problem that may be costly to fix, possibly a circuit board, take it to a repair place that will look at it for free or minimal amount
