My LCD TV screen has suddenly gone nearly white?

My LCD TV screen has suddenly gone nearly white, I looked down then when I looked back it was nearly white. You can still hear the sound fine and see the picture faintly. I have reset it to factory settings so I have not accidentally changed contrast. It is 6 months old. Anybody know how I can fix this?

Need more info..What kind of TV?? Hope it is still in warranty.. Sometimes the repairs cost almost as much as a new TV.... Not knowing the brand, hard to say. Hope it is not a 'low end' HDTV...Most will last at least 60,000 hours or more.!

Go and look at the brightness settings, if its not that then contact the company/shop you bought it from. Someone would be there to fix it in about 3 or 4 days.
