Why does my Samsung LCD TV work perfectly with DVD player and Xbox but faulty with BT Vision TV?
-
No issues with watching DVDs or playing Xbox at all but when watching TV through BT Vision Box it flickers regularly (re-sets Ext 1 setting); prevents the volume control working (both BT and Samsung controllers); picture freezes with distorted green screen whilst sound plays normally; screen goes black and TV emits a prolonged high pitched screech; and/or just turns itself off. This only started happening 2 weeks ago - 2 months after 12 month warranty expired...

Answer:
The problem is with the BT Vision box, not your TV.

You are probably paying a monthly subscription for your BT box which is obviously faulty. They will probably fix/replace it free of charge if they think you don't want to pay any more.
