How can I get help with my converter box problems?

I am trying to help my inlaws get more channels from there digital converter box they have an antenna on the?

  • roof but they dont pick up as many channels as i think they should such as our netorks all come out of cities less than 100 miles from here they pick up cbs nbc and abc but the converter says that the fox station is to weak so it wont show it any help out there?

    I recently learnt that you have to scan it once in a while to get more available channels

They might need a new antenna. Older antennas sometimes have a problem with the digital channels. I had to get a new one and it worked slightly better, but I still don't get half the channels I used to get on analogue. Make sure to research antennas before you buy. antennaweb.org is a decent site to do research.
