How do I remove the 'blurryness' and zoom my screen to my Samsungg 46'' LCD 1080 TV?

Hi, I just bought the Samsun 46'' LCD tv and installed Comcast today. I notice however that my screen apparently doesn't fit the screen from Comcast on to my TV. The picture is actually smaller. I then clicked on the "P. Size" button on the bottom right of my remote and the only remotely closest selection is the 'WideScreen" option. Even if I use this, a couple issues occur: (1) The widescreen bleeds the image out of my TV on both left and right hand sides, and (2) my image is really blurred up and not crystal clear. I know I signed up for HDTV with Comcast and I would expect my TV to have CRYSTAL clear no blurry pixelated faces, right? What's up with the screen size image not fitting perfectly onto my TV? What do I need to do to fix both these issues? Should I just call Comcast? I've been playing with my TV settings on my remote for hours, and no luck. BTW - Comcast installers are ridiculous. Worthless.

How is the box connected to the TV? You need an HDMI connection for full 1080p, a component connection can give you 1080i, s-video, composite or a coax from the box will not give you HD. If you have a proper connection, check the setup of your box and make sure it is set to output an HD signal. Check your TVs video setup, there are probably several options available, you should probably choose widescreen, your manual should explain the options better.

I was having the blurry problem with my new Sony LCD.Go into your picture or screen settings and make sure that you have noise reduction turned off.I did that on mine and now the picture is crystal clear.It was lile peoples faces were pushing up against the screen until i changed the setting
