just check the weight rating of the stand if you have a 65 led its no problem if you have a 65 plasma it could be a problem because most stands are rated for 150 pounds. If its an older stand for a dlp it wont be a problem either but a 65 plasma should weigh around 135 pounds so it should even hold that.

Wow, if I had a 65" TV I would want it on the wall. I'd be afraid of it falling.

It should.. But if you get an LED HDTV, it will be rather light in weight..

It will be sticking out the sides a bit but it should hold. If not add velcro to the bottom
