What are the HDTV standards?

Vizio/Sony/Samsung 32" HDTV(Which to Get?)?

  • Ok so I am looking to pick one of these up this Friday(Black Friday) I live in California, these prices are fairly cheap for CA standards. I'm just a bit indecisive on which one to get. I have narrowed my choices down to three brands and three models, those being... 1.Vizio 32" Class 720p LCD HDTV (VO230E)-$349.99 2.Sony 32" Class 720p LCD HTDV (KDL-32l504)-$379.99 3.Samsung 32" Class 720p HDTV (LN32B360)-$398.00 I've heard good things about vizio and thats a good thing because thats the cheapest one I've heard samsung and sony are equal if not the same Sony however tends to demand more $$$ because it's sony

    Sony's quality has actually deteriorated unfortunately. Get the Samsung.

most asuredly the Visio. I have been looking since the plazma first cameout and decided to wait for new tech. The time is right and the Visio is the one. Do the LCD thing for sure and all of the VISIO's I looked out do the the rest almost 90% of the time. One word of caution. I was told that Walmart has their sets made especially for them. There is a differance. Check it out before you buy. Model for model detail for detail.

Even though I love my Sony Bravia, I don't think you can go wrong with any of those. Many of my patients bring their own TVs (mostly Vizio's) for their short stay at our health care facility. I have to admit those TV's look really good!

All would be good choices, but personally I would go with Sony or Samsung over Vizio, because they're well established brands that have been around a long time.
