Whats the difference between a LCD tv and a LED tv?

    An LED is the same in specs as an LCD. However, the LED has a different type of backlighting, making it lighter and slimmer. They both have the same pros and cons....For those reasons, I would opt for the slimmer LED......If the blur on fast action bothers you, get a good refresh rate of at least 120 hz. type TV.. And it helps to have a TV where the refresh rate can be turned off, as it can mess up movie and some TV show viewing with strange artifacts...The refresh rate is a strange but somewhat effective help for LCD/LED fast action blur, but not a cure for the slow response of those type HDTV's..

easiest way both the same apart from LED tv uses different back lighting compared to lcd tv's led tv's are better than lcd's but plasma tv's do give a better picture than led/lcd tv's, plasma tv's have a deeper black which gives a better picture quality
