Can I watch TV shows on my computer?

How can I hook my computer up to the TV to watch online shows?

  • I'm moving and am not going to have access to a lot of shows I enjoy watching; however, I will be able to view them online. I would like to watch these shows thru my comp but on my widescreen DLP and/or flatscreen t.v. Any advice?

Is your computer a laptop or a desktop one? If it's a laptop it's pretty easy, some have video plugs in it so you just plug it in the laptop and in your tv then you go to the input on which you plugged it in on your tv (example video3 you go on video3 on your TV) then you surely have a F button on which you have a screen and a computer or something like that (most of the time it's F5) so you press Fn and F5 at the same time until you see the picture on your Tv. Sorry, but for a desktop computer I don't know exactly what to do, but it must be almost the same thing, except for the F buttons which do not have such functions...

idk, but ik you can, my dad did it its cool, but yeah idk how to go to s coumputure store and ask one of the ppl who works there

You need to buy a special type of cable. You can go to wherever your tv came from and get it! Hope this helped :)
