Cable box to LCD Monitor?

How to use LCD Display Monitor as TV??? HD Comcast Cable Box HDMI and Home Entertainment System.?

Hi everybody. I have a 37 inch LG LCD Monitor Model M3701C-BA. I am getting my comcast cable installed tomorrow and have been freaking out about how to hook it up. I know I can connect the HDMI to HDMI from the TV to the HD Box for the video. But what I am worried about is the audio. I bought a Dynex Home Theater System with DVD as the receiver for the 5.1 speakers. Can somebody please tell me how to set up the the home theater system to the cable box so that the monitor gets video from the HD Cable box and audio through the home theater system. Would I just set it up through another HDMI port from the DVD player to the Cable Box? Would the comcast guy help me set this up? Please help I really appreciate any help I can get! Thanks!

If you just hook up your home entertainment system to your tv directly, then you can play the audio of anything displayed on the tv (dvd-player, cable box, even if you have a xbox360 or something) But when you do this, it's better to turn the tv volume down when using your home entertainement system, because if you keep the tv audio also on, you might hear what sounds like an eccho.. but this is just something you should figure out yourself, might not be a problem having the sound come out of your tv aswell as your home entertainement system
