Why does my hdtv turn on then and then turn off?

Why does my hdtv keep forgetting the digital channel after i turn it off and then on or go into the input?

• I have a 50" hdtv by sanyo, it is new and i have a few problems operating it. And the main problem is that i have to keep searching for the channel. Because everytime i turn my tv off and on again it would only remember the analog channel and the digital channels are not there, unless i do another channel search for the digital channels, and it does take a long time which annoys me.   Did you go and do the FULL AUTOPROGRAM? Or just the digital search recently? Do the full auto..... Do you provide power to it 24/7? Or do you have it connected to your wall thru a switch that you turn on and off? That is the only reason that TV should lose digital stations.... Now, if you do have power to it all the time, you need to get that TV serviced by a Sanyo Authorized servicer. Good luck with that, you'll need it.
