How to connect a video recorder to a set top box?

How can I connect a video recorder to record digital Chanel's from a free view top box?

  • Answer:

Your scart socket or cable might be faulty. Most freeview boxes have two scart out sockets. Connect this to one of your free scart in sockets on your video and you should be able to change the channel on the video to one of the aux channels and record from there.

it should go: Ariel - Digibox Digibox - Video Video - TV and that will allow you to record either through AV or video channel.
