Polarized Glasses With Samsung Smart TV Series 7 55"?

I was looking up the manual of the SAMSUNG Smart TV 55" with 3D and it says that one of the modes of viewing 3D content is Line by Line. I looked this up everywhere and it says that Line By Line 3D can be viewed with Polarized glasses. But the TV comes with active shutter glasses. So what I want to know is, would it be possible to use polarized glasses with this TV and view in 3D? Additionally, I also looked at the screen of the LG Infinia polarized 3D tv and it was displaying 3D content in a line by line pattern. So does this mean that the Samsung 55" series 7 Smart TV can be viewed using polarized glasses?
